I met Louise online a few months ago on the Expat Woman website As we were both due our baby boys the same month.

He is now six weeks old and very very cute! Stanley loves the camera and was so good during our session!

On friday morning Jennifer and her husband Simon came to my studio for their maternity photos.

With only three weeks to go before little Jacob arrives it was the perfect opportunity for them to capture Jen’s gorgeous pregnancy bump…

During our session we found that one of my backdrops is the same color and print that is in Jacobs nursery!! We had to get a few pictures on it before we finished for the day.

One of my Commercial clients Pinctada have been featured in different magazines in which my images are used.

Pinctada is  a jewelry company based in Dubai that specializes in south sea pearls pearls. They have stores located in Dubai Mall grand atrium, Zabeel Saray Hotel, Mina A’Salam Hotel, and the Al Qasr Hotel, as well as selling them InFlight on Etihad’s Duty Free.

Starting out with just selling strands of pearls Pinctada has diversified into selling earrings, bracelets and rings.

Published in Two editions of Etihad Airlines Inflight  Boutique Magazine, The May issue of Dubai Mall Magazine as well as issue 3 of Vision.

Their jewelry is absolutely stunning my jaw drops every time I photograph a new piece!!

I was contacted in March 2012 and informed that one of my images had been shortlisted!!!

There were three categories:

• Love of the Earth
• Dubai
• General

At this point I had no idea which of my three images it was but very excited to hear that amongst the hundreds of thousands of entries they received mine stood out from the crowd and was in for a chance at winning.

I was invited to the Award ceremony on the 26th March – However I could not attend as I had Cooper on the 22nd March!!

Although I did not win any prizes I am extremely thrilled that I came so close considering how many people entered!

Today I had a knock at my door and a large  heavy A3 size package was delivered – a little confused as I wasn’t expecting anything I signed it over, as my name was on it so it must be mine… Like a kid at christmas I rushed to the lounge and tore into the package to find a Letter from the HIPA awards saying…. “The photograph which you have submitted for the awards has been chosen to be part of the book due to its distinguished beauty”

The awards have published their First edition – ‘Love the Earth’ in which MY IMAGE is featured!!

Flicking through the pages,  there it was – Under the Dubai category. I finally knew which image was picked.

The house was decorated so beautifully with all the Elmo characters around.

My favorite party of the decor was an awesome sweetie table!!!

It was a fantastic afternoon in Ajman!

Mira had her amazing Tiffany Wedding in Ajman on Friday night.

I walked into the amazing Wedding hall set up for 550 guests with beautiful decor! So much detail down to the blue roses on the tables and each seat getting a little tiffany box with Patchi chocolates inside.

What a beautiful evening and a truly stunning bride!!

It was so lovely to see the whole family again after I photographed Mira’s sisters wedding in September.

We met in the morning at Al Qasr Hotel,  the lovely Madinat Jumeriah. A FANTASTIC location for photographs!!
